Blackberry-Honey Pepper Sauce

This is one flavorful sauce to use with an Eye Round Roast Beef! It is a favorite in my household.

Only 4 ingredients!

16 ounces Fresh or Frozen Blackberries (if using frozen thaw first in a bowl). In a saucepan on medium heat add blackberries, 1/4 cup Pure honey, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon black pepper. As the fruit breaks down stir frequently. Once in a syrupy state remove from heat. Using a fine mesh sieve over a bowl slowly pour through the sieve and with a wooden spoon begin gently stirring. Discard seeds. If not using right away, let it cool down and store in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator.

Another great use for this sauce is over Vanilla Bean Ice Cream or Vanilla Frozen Yogurt -it is delicious, served warm.
